    We Will Not Forget
We will remember these who worked for the good of others and yet were taken from us so unjustly. We will not forget, not even when those who did such harm to us all are brought to justice.

Since April 2004, over 250 foreigners and thousands of Iraqi nationals have been taken hostage in and around Iraq. Rebel groups from both inside and outside Iraq seek to compel the Coalition Forces to leave, free prisoners or take other, similar actions.

Surprisingly, more hostages by far have been taken from non-Coalition countries. More info...

    What Can Be Done?
      » Public Awareness
The public, and the media, must not be allowed to forget even one life that languishes away waiting to be rescued. This is true both here and in the abductors' country.

      » Continuous Contact Effort
Former hostages report that messages from home sometimes manage to get through, but only if we don't give up trying to make contact.

      » Family Support
For each life held in the balance, the lives of family members and friends are held captive as well. We must do whatever can be done to assist them in this intolerable situation.

      » Diplomacy
Pressure must be brought to bear on the government of any country that won't do its utmost to rescue hostages and bring abductors to justice.

      » Reach Out
Click on a photo above to send a public or private message to that person. If you know them personally, tell the rest of us about them. Let the world know these are real people with real lives, not statistics on the evening news.

Write letters to elected officials, yours and theirs.

      » Help Out
Print this web page and post it on a bulletin board somewhere. Email a copy of the web page to whoever will read it.

Find a worthy organization near you and give of your time and talent. If we all did just a little more, it would produce an outpouring of support that would make everyone take notice.

      » Pray
The physical hardships suffered lead many hostages to depend more on spiritual realities to find strength. In this they set an excellent example for us all. Pray for them to have strength to endure. Pray for their soon release.

      » Give
Find out what organizations are pouring in the most effort and spending the most wisely to further our common goal. Public awareness campaigns take money to operate. Offices need money to stay open and staffed. Give wisely and generously.
